Hello,I am a teacher of Computer Science, from India.
Shakespeare was right......OR..... How they reward a teacher
How they reward a good teacher and a great scholar in India.
""As he was ambitious, I slew him...."" Brutus justifying the
murder of Julius Caesar.
He is a person of very high intellect. He is an internationally
respected (except in India) scholar. He is a honest and sincere
teacher. His class performed exceptionally well in the University
exams. He couldnt ask for anything better, he didnt get anything
better of course. But, all he got was a snub, like all honest,
oustpoken and non-diplomatic people get.
His college removed him unceremoniously from the only class which
he was teaching.
His college "forgot" to allot him any other subjects to teach.
They thought they are punishing the teacher, and they ended up
ruining their own students' future.
Never mind the fact that the teacher kept getting recognitions from famous
international institutions abroad.
Deja vu ? YES . We have seen this scenario before. The honest and
perseverant police officer gets transferred to a remote village,,
because he chased the dishonest in his town. The honest
government officer gets shunted out to a desert, because he
wouldnt accept a bribe and bend the rules. The fearless
journalist gets bumped off in a road accident, because he wouldnt
stop his investigations. Now, here is a teacher who gets the same
treatment, we see in Indian movies. After all, India is the great
country where they shot dead the one and only Mahatma Gandhi.
The teacher will not change, in spite of all these insinuations.

lost their reason"" Mark Anthony lamenting the fate of Julius
